Nashville Foodie Weekend Recap

A few weeks ago I went to Nashville for a girl's weekend and it was so much fun! If you've never been, the city is a must visit if you're ever in the central time zone. We were celebrating a good friend's 30th birthday so we did not hold back from treating ourselves around the city, but that's the way to do it in my opinion. Also for a little fun fact, we met Reese Witherspoon in the lobby of Hotel Noelle and I was stunned. She was so sweet and as perfect as she looks on screen! We were on the hunt for a good drink after our draw dropping dinner at Folk, and I actually had the best drink I've ever tasted at the lobby bar of Hotel Noelle immediately after meeting Reese. To say I could have just been on cloud 9 heightening all of my senses may be true, but it's still worthy of sharing with you all, along with everywhere else we ate.

Folk

Folk was probably my favorite restaurant we ate at all weekend! The food was farm to table fresh and very unique. I love a good seasonal and experimental dining experience. We shared a bunch of appetizers and ordered a mushroom pizza that was heavenly. The winner of the show was the chicken dish, so crispy and tender.

Moto

Moto was a fabulous, classic Italian dinning experience with great wine and comforting food. We had a perfectly indulgent night with pasta, fresh vegetables, and lots of wine. The food here is rich and decadent, making for a beautiful date night.

White Limozeen

White Limozeen is the rooftop bar of the famous Graduate Hotel in downtown Nashville. It's stunning, gorgeous, and every bride's bachelorette dream. When you walk into the hotel lobby you are greeted with nothing but pink, diamonds, and funky flair. We took the elevator up to the rooftop and I was blown away by the sparkling bar and gorgeous outdoor pool deck. Nothing but windows line the interior of the bar, with bright pink chairs and green plants filling the room, and dazzling chandeliers hanging from above. Not only was the ambiance out of movie, but the drinks were fun and the food was tasty.

Josephine

Josephine is a classic favorite. I wouldn't be upset if I ate here every time I visited Nashville, it's that good. Their biscuits are perfection and the vibe is rustically beautiful. It sits in the heart of 12 South with a charming bar and an airy indoor patio lined with twinkling lights. Using local ingredients, you are in for a treat if you dine here.

Pinewood Social

Pinewood Social is such a fun spot for any time of the day. With an indoor bowling alley, wrap around bar, booths, and an outdoor patio with tables, games, and a pool, it literally has it all. Whether you're going to enjoy a boozy brunch, an afternoon delight, or even just to hangout with friends and get competitive, this spot is a must visit. It also has the best spots for photos!

Anzie Blue

Anzie Blue was the cutest bar and bakery serving both coffee and cocktails. This was our first stop of the trip and the concept was one I had never experienced. People were working on their laptops sipping on a mug, while others were chatting and sipping champagne. We ordered espresso martinis and the Nashville hot chicken dip as an afternoon pick me up after the drive.

Five Daughters Bakery

Five Daughters is a little gem located in 12 South and walking distance from Josephine. We stopped here on Sunday after brunch before hitting the road back to Memphis. It's a cute and colorful little house with all sorts of baked goods, but they're well known for their dense and decadent donuts. They have vegan and gluten free options as well. Definitely add this to your list if you have a big sweet tooth like me!
